Join us for our

Christmas and New Year Cruises

Relax onboard Nova Spero this Christmas or New Year as we meander the west coast waters around Loch Linnhe, Oban & Mull and make our way to Kyle of Lochalsh and the iconic Eilean Donan  Castle. Enjoy all the festive trimmings on board for Christmas or Bring in the New Year with the bells in Oban.

A 5 night cruise of the sheltered waters of the west coast starting and ending in Corpach.   En route we will visit a variety of ports & harbours, scenic landmarks and iconic attractions.

The nature of our cruises is to provide a “theme” and to make the most of the options available to us based on weather, tides, access and things like local events & festivals.

Day 1: Join us by early afternoon onboard Nova Spero moored at Corpach.  We enjoy an evening sail down Loch Linnhe and Loch Leven for an overnight at anchor at the mouth of Glencoe.

Day 2: We sail down Loch Linnhe past Castle Stalker to Oban for an overnight stay with time to explore the town and its many attractions including McCaig’s folly, numerous seafood restaurants, shops, Oban whisky distillery and a rather fine chocolate shop!

Day 3:  After breakfast we set off for the Isle of Mull and Tobermory where we will spend the night.

Day 4:  Today we will make our way back around the Ardnamurchan Peninsula and inland to Loch Aline.

Day 5:  We leave Loch Aline to sail back via Loch Linnhe to the Corpach Basin where you will have time to go for a walk, climb Ben Nevis r visit the 3 Wise Monkeys Climbing Wall.  Overnight in Fort William.

Day 6:  You will wake up to a view of Ben Nevis followed by breakfast and disembarking at your leisure.

Our Christmas Sailing will have a celebratory Christmas Day Meal served on board.

Our New Years’ Cruise is a 6 night cruise and we’ll see the Bells in in Oban Bay.

Food & Drink

We include breakfast, lunch and dinner each day of your cruise.  Our cook will use the finest locally sourced produce, fresh from suppliers to deliver mouthwatering dishes.

Dinner will be the main meal of the day and will be served between 6pm and 7pm in sheltered anchorage or in harbour.  If we are still on the move we can dine if the water is calm or wait until we reach sheltered waters.  The other meals of the day require more flexibility as the boat may be moving depending on our schedule for the day.

A bar with wines, beers and spirits will be available.

Scotland’s waters and coasts are a playground for a wide variety of wildlife from minke whales & porpoises to puffins and sea eagles.   Binoculars and cameras are recommended.

Visitor Attractions

At the start of each cruise the captain will meet with the all of the guests to discuss the planned route for your cruise which will take into account tides and weather.  We will endeavour to visit some of Scotland’s finest distilleries, castles and attractions from suitable nearby mooring.

Walking & Mountaineering

There will be plenty of opportunity to explore Scotland’s hills and mountains so bring along your walking/hiking equipment.
